Carving the Pumpkins

Pumpkin Patch

We took the annual trip to the pumpkin patch the day before Halloween. It was beautiful weather and the kids had a lot of fun. Ashlyn was trying to pick up every pumpkin she came to and it was a disaster trying to get both kids to look at the camera at the same time. Hopefully next year Jeremy will be able to come as it will be our last year here.

Life in the Guenter House

This is Ashlyn's favorite spot in the house, in the fridge. I can not open it without her running for it and wiggling her way in just to look and grab a few things, it is quite annoying. As you can see by her chubby little legs, she loves to eat what is in the fridge also.

I had to post this picture even though it is blurry, it was so cute Coleman would grab a book and read it then throw it down to Ashlyn for her to read. They did this for almost an hour until all the books were read and there is probably 50+ in there. It was actually one time that I didn't care cleaning up all those books. (Jeremy has since put a door on that shelf because the books were all getting pulled out multiple times a day by the book monster)

National Zoo

It's been a while since I have had any time to update some pictures so here are a few now that my house is semi clean and my Ashlyn is napping.

We went to the DC zoo last month when Jordan came to visit. Coleman had a blast because his new favorite animal is a Panda Bear and he hasn't seen any (at least that he can remember) and the DC zoo has 3 of them. So we went to see his favorite animal first and he was in heaven. He loved all the animals and I am pretty sure Ashlyn was loving it also. Every animal she saw she just made a grunting noise and would point and stare with wide eyes, she is so into animals right now. She loves Diego and any book that has an animal in it she goes crazy over.
