Signs of Spring

I planted some tulip bulbs about a month ago hoping it would stay cold and they wouldn't grow for a while. Then we had this crazy heat wave for a couple weeks and all of a sudden a couple little green sprouts appeared. The weather was ok until last night we had an ice storm and we woke up to a thin layer of ice over everything, including my little tulip sprouts. Hopefully it won't kill them, we will see. I will be really sad if they don't bloom because tulips are one of my favorite flowers.
